If you’re looking for a summer day trip, then Fire Island is the place to go. Fire Island has great beaches and a lively downtown spots. The Sayville ferry goes to Cherry Grove, Fire Island Pines, Sailors Haven, and Water Island. A ferry ride is $18 for adults and $8.50 per child for a round trip pass. The ferry is a quick and easy way to get to Fire Island during the summer.

The Common Ground at Rotary Park is the place for fun, free outdoor events, activities and concerts this summer. Wednesday August 15 th enjoy a performance at The Common Ground by the American Dance Theater of Long Island and see The Lazy Bunny Ukulele Band August 22 nd . Bring the entire gang to Family Fridays at The Common Ground. August 24 th is the National Circus Project, a comedy show that incorporates circus skills and requires audience participation.
