Ice cream is a summer staple everyone craves when the weather gets warm. Tipsy Scoop makes liquor-infused ice cream flavors inspired by classic and contemporary cocktails and are made with the best local and seasonal ingredients.

“Ice cream making runs in my family, during the 1800s, my family brought over gelato carts from Italy to Scotland. I was always interested in perfecting my homemade ice cream recipe and added just a few tablespoons of alcohol to soften the ice cream and make it less icy on the sides. From there, I thought it would be cool to add more alcohol so the flavor really comes through. Unlike rum cake, the alcohol in ice cream does not burn off so the end product holds the alcohol content,” said Melissa Tavss, founder of Tispy Scoop.
Tipsy Scoop’s Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel ice cream, Mango Margarita sorbet, and Cake Batter Vodka Martini ice cream are the most popular flavors. All of their sorbets are vegan and dairy free so even those with food allergies can enjoy a satisfying scoop.
