Rosé Soiree at The Garden City Hotel

Summertime is rosé wine season! Rosé wine enthusiasts wore their finest pink and white attire to the Rosé Soiree at the The Patio Bar by David Burke at The Garden City Hotel. Attendees got to taste two different types of rosé, Conundrum Rosé from California and Château Sainte Marguerite L’Esprit de Sainte Marguerite 2017 from Cotes de Provence, then voted for their favorite.

Conundrum Rosé is has notes of strawberries, honeydew, and rose petals giving it a bright and fresh taste.

Château Sainte Marguerite L’Esprit de Sainte Marguerite 2017 is organic and vegan wine that is fruity, well-balanced rosé with slight notes of raspberry.

The most popular summer wine cocktail, frosé (frozen rosé) was the perfect way to cool down on a hot evening. The frosé was even topped with a fresh cut strawberry making it very Instagramable.

The Patio Bar by David Burke served up delectable bites including lobster dumplings, candied bacon kebabs, shrimp skewers, broccoli branches and David Burke’s signature Cheesecake Lollipops.

Rosé lovers relaxed in Adirondack chairs across the gorgeous green grass for some Thirsty Thursday summer sipping and hors d’oeuvres from legendary chef David Burke.

The Arrangement Bar provided cool photo-ops, they hung pictures frames with flowers from a tree and there was also a step and repeat where large groups could strike a pose in front of. People posted photos on Instagram to enter to win prizes including a David Burke Gift bag, Red Door Spa gift card, brunch for two at Red Salt Room by David Burke, and a floral bouquet from The Arrangement Bar by Andrew Scott.
