Foodies flocked to The Brooklyn Mirage for the Bacon and Beer Classic to sample the best bacon dishes and brews from local restaurants, caterers, food trucks, breweries, and more. Here are some of the best bacon bites and craft beers from the event.

Even though bacon is a savory ingredient, sweets enhance the salt and fat to create a perfectly balanced dish. Here are some delectable desserts from the Bacon and Beer Classic.

Miss Holly’s Smokehouse is a catering company from Brooklyn, NY that specializes in meats and baking. At the Bacon and Beer Classic, Holly handed out samples of her Brown Sugar Bacon Cinnamon Rolls topped with a thick glaze of icing and crispy bacon.
New York’s favorite cookie shop, Schmackary’s, made Maple Bacon cookies with maple syrup, toffee bits, sea salt and of course candied bacon that even Cookie Monster would be jealous of.
La Bella Torte is a food truck that specializes in Italian desserts. Their goal is to take over the world one cannoli at a time. At the Bacon and Beer Classic, they gave a satisfying spoonful of cannoli cream with candied bacon. Aren’t you “shell-less”?
Cuzin’s Duzin makes doughnuts for grownups by using Corona beer to make the glaze. Even Oprah named these doughnuts one of her favorite things.
Tipsy Scoop liquor-infused ice cream from Manhattan and Brooklyn, sampled their Maple Bacon Bourbon ice cream, the perfect boozy and bacon bite.

Stuf’d food truck sampled their beer and bacon jam. This spread is great for burgers, mac and cheese, sandwiches and more.
Fresh & Co handed out their Tiny AF Bacon Tacos with locally smoked bacon with honey and chipotle and bacon served with organic sweet potato, avocado, serano peppers cilantro, onion, heirloom radishes, lime on a house-made organic corn shell. These gourmet tacos are a bite of delight.
Jase BBQ turns ordinary to extraordinary with their bacon burger. A juicy beef patty is topped with crispy bacon giving the burger fat and added flavor.
Chef T from Season 14 and 18 of Hell’s Kitchen raised breakfast to the next level. She served up Sunday Supper, a sweet potato pancake with ham hock collard greens and Hormel Maple Pepper Bacon.

Even though the Bacon and Beer Classic was a Brooklyn event, some Long Island breweries were there representing the local scene. Barrier Brewing Co. poured their newest brew Kickin’ Knowledge w/Passion Fruit, a milkshake IPA brewed with passion fruit, vanilla, coconut and hopped with mosaic, motueka and citra and Greenport Harbor Brewing Company poured Far Out There IPA and Light Work Pale Ale.
Local Brooklyn breweries were also there to represent. Coney Island Brewery poured Beach Beer and Mermaid Pilsner, Sixpoint Brewery poured Alepenflo Lager and Citrus Jammer, and King Country Brewers Collective poured the Bride of Beach Zombie, a Mango Passion Fruit Sour and their Superhero Sidekicks IPA.
Since the Bacon and Beer Classic was on National Rosé Day, Firestone Walker Brewing Company poured Rosalie Beer Rosé and 21st Amendment Brewery sampled Sparkling Rosé Ale.
